MED Diary Support

How can we help?

Questions, ideas, billing confusion, or something not working as expected — send us a note. A human reads every message.

Email support@meddiary.app

Please do not email passwords, invite keys, full lab reports, or health details that are not needed to explain the problem.

Manage Premium

Apple handles subscription billing. View the active plan, renewal date, price, or cancellation options in your Apple subscription settings.

Open Apple subscriptions

Restore a purchase

In MED Diary, open Settings, select the Premium row, and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that originally subscribed.

Restore still not working?

Request a refund

Refunds for App Store purchases are reviewed by Apple, not MED Diary. Sign in to Apple's Report a Problem site and select the relevant purchase.

Privacy request

Delete My Data in the app erases your local diary, encrypted Backup & Sync mailbox, and—after authenticated server deletion succeeds—the AI-use ledger linked to your anonymous Support ID and the separate credential that proves access to that ledger; Shared Access also offers account deletion. MED Diary keeps the random identifier used as an App Store app-account token only when StoreKit reports verified MED Diary purchase history, and otherwise deletes it. The identifier contains no name, contact details, or health record. For another server-data request or an AI-ledger question, include the Support ID shown on MED Diary's in-app Support screen. We cannot retrieve readable diary content from your devices or decrypt your sealed mailbox for you.

Accessibility

If a screen, control, label, colour, motion, or assistive-technology interaction makes MED Diary difficult to use, tell us what would work better. Accessibility reports are treated as product issues.

Quick answers

Before you write

Will deleting the app cancel Premium?

No. Uninstalling MED Diary, deleting diary data, or deleting a Shared Access account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel separately in Apple's subscription settings.

Why does MED Diary not show my subscription?

First confirm that the device uses the Apple Account that subscribed, then open the Premium screen and choose Restore Purchases. If Apple shows an active subscription but MED Diary still does not, email us with a screenshot of the app's status — hide any billing or personal details you do not want to send.

What happens to my Founding Price if I cancel?

Turning off renewal does not end Premium immediately; it remains active through the date Apple shows. Keeping the annual subscription continuously active is the surest way to retain the Founding Price. Apple says preserved-price subscribers can resubscribe at that price within 60 days after expiration; after that recovery window, the then-current App Store price may apply. You can review or cancel it in Apple's subscription settings.

How does Backup & Sync protect my diary?

MED Diary encrypts supported records and files on your device before upload. Our server keeps the sealed mailbox available to your enrolled devices but never receives a readable copy of the vault key. Recovery remains with your optional iCloud Keychain continuity copy, a Trusted Device, or your printable Recovery Key. See the illustrated Backup & Sync explanation.

Can support see my diary or encrypted backup?

No. Support does not have a console for browsing your device diary and does not possess the key needed to open your encrypted mailbox. We see only content you deliberately send in a support message and the limited account, size, timing, and operational information described in the Privacy Policy.

How should I send a Shared Access invite?

The full invite carries both the invite code and the device-generated encryption key. Copy or share the full invite, or hand over the displayed code and key through a channel you trust, and protect it like a password. Your caregiver must also sign in to MED Diary Follow with the Apple email you invited. Never send an invite key to support. See how Shared Access protects records.

How do I stop sharing with a caregiver?

Open Shared Access in MED Diary, choose the caregiver, and revoke the share. The server immediately deletes the encrypted record payloads for that share. MED Diary Follow removes local encrypted data when it detects revocation, but detection can be delayed and an offline device may retain its last cache and key. You can narrow or revoke an existing share even after Premium ends; until you do, it continues its normal sharing passes. Revocation cannot remove screenshots, exports, or other copies the recipient already made.

How do I delete my diary?

Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete My Data removes every real profile and its records and files, settings, family-profile registry, App Lock credential, MED Diary notifications and temporary health-data files, vault keys and encrypted replication state, the server-side encrypted mailbox and recovery envelope, the AI-use ledger and its separate access credential, and—when signed in—Shared Access account data. The old server credential is cleared once server deletion succeeds or no ledger exists; a failed server request leaves deletion incomplete and keeps the credential so you can retry. An offline second device keeps its own local copy until it is erased there. The random identifier used as an App Store app-account token remains only when StoreKit reports verified MED Diary purchase history; otherwise it is deleted too. Delete My Data does not delete Apple Health records or cancel an App Store subscription; those are managed separately.
